Account Closure

I am trying to close my forum account. I followed the directions here ( last paragraph: http://tenfootpole.org/forum/index.php?help/terms/ ) and submitted a request to close my account twice. I waited a reasonable time but months have passed without a response. Are the instructions at the link wrong? Must one take additional steps to close an account?

I know this sounds dumb, but, I can't figure out where the mail is going.

It's the darnest thing, I think I actually removed his account, but this has merely turned him into a sort of undead creature, immune to banning or removal.
