Well, I let the software for the forum lapse. And then I upgraded the entire website to PHP 8. Which killed the forum. I've downgraded to 7.

But hey, I want you to really listen to this part, as one fellow divorcee to another: I am 100% able to turn off the cheekiness and lend an actual sensitive ear if you need it. Ditto on the depression front; I know its sting well, and can be much more sympathetic than you'd expect from a guy who gets called a "troll" as often as I do. You're literally surrounded by people who hang off every word you write in these parts. There's no stigma about reaching out in this camp, buddy.

Speaking of site issues...I've noticed the Trending Articles are now pointing to the first post in the thread instead of the last one. Also, this morning when I was trying to look at a few threads I got hit with "resource limit reached". Bryce, is there anything you can do about this?

I think it's probably also related to this:
Before the upgrade this would always update with the threads that had received recent replies. They'd also list out the user and the date of the reply. Now it seems awfully static. This thread, "Site Upgrade Issues", should have been displayed at the very top but it wasn't even added to Trending Content.
